Milky Chicken Stew 牛奶煮雞





It's a highly nutritious meal kids will love.  The chicken becomes extra smooth and fragrant after simmering in the bath of milk and cheese.  You can eat this as a stew, or serve it with a bowl of rice and pour a few spoonfuls of soup on top.  My little son easily gobbles down these pieces of smooth chicken.  The whole milk in this recipe is not recommended to substitute for any no fat or skimmed milk.  I really don't think they can do the same job as the whole milk.


Ingredients:
750 gram Chicken Thigh, boneless, skinned, and cut into bite size
2 cups Whole Milk
1.5 cups Shredded Cheese (prefer Cheddar and Mozzarella)
75 ml Rice Wine (white wine is also fine)
2 tablespoons White Miso (it's usually available in big Asian supermarkets)
20 Button Mushrooms


材料:

2 杯   全脂奶
1.5 杯  切碎芝士 (Cheddar and Mozzarella) 
75 毫升   米酒 (可改用白酒)
2 湯匙   白麵鼓 (一般在大型亞洲市場可找到)
20 磨菇
